The developers of the multiplayer action game Crossout previously conducted a survey among players, which asked questions of various types. Now the team has published the results, thanks to which some rather interesting information about the project’s fan base has become known.
Crossout player survey results:
- Age of players: “from 18 to 25 years” and “from 26 to 35” – 28% each, “under 18” and “from 36 to 45 years” – 18%.
- The vast majority of players are men. Only 2% are women.
- 63% of players are from Russia and the CIS, 19% from Europe, 10% from North America.
- 49% of players work, 27% study, and 13% study and work.
- 45% of users learned about Crossout from YouTube, and 25% from advertising sources. Friends recommended the game to 23% of respondents.
- 15% of respondents have been playing Crossout for more than a year, and 75% have been playing for over three years.
- Medium cabins and weapons are chosen by 31% of users, maneuverable vehicles with light weapons – 20%, and heavy and powerful vehicles – 12%. Armored vehicles for close combat are chosen by only 10%, and 24% of respondents consider themselves jacks of all trades.
- 19% of people play every day, and 49% play several days a week. 32% play the game for a couple of hours a week.
- 55% of respondents play in PvP mode, and 21% take part in clan battles. 4% of people do not participate in battles at all, preferring to simply chat.
- 49% of respondents spend time playing games every day, 27% almost every day.
- 55% of Crossout fans like action games, 52% like fantasy RPGs, and 46% like strategy games.
