BeamNG.drive is a realistic racing simulator with unlimited possibilities. The developers managed to bring the physics engine of soft bodies to a new level, which made it possible to implement the “natural” deformation of car models in real time. Any collision with another object at high speed leads to, in its own way, an amazing accident with torn off wheels, shattered glass and a smashed body.
Before hitting anything, the player is allowed to experience the genuine pleasure of driving a car. All locations available in the game are created manually. A pothole on the road is not just a deepening, but a full-fledged physical object, which can be felt by the used suspension and depreciation of the vehicle. Several levels of different types allow you to appreciate the beauty of the engine: urban area, country paths, complete absence of roads. A polygon of textures has been allocated for testing the machines, designed to relieve the PC components.
For those who are not interested in simulating countless accidents, several auxiliary modes are provided. The most interesting thing lies behind the tuning of cars, where from a simple-looking car, you can easily create a sports car of the future for every taste. Not the last role in the development of the project was played by custom mods loaded directly into the game. They add new cars, even more obstacles and unusual test tracks.
