One less MMORPG in development. According to recent vacancies, Neople studio decided to completely rethink the approach to the gameplay of Project BBQ and change the genre to third-person soul-like action. In this regard, the code name has also changed to Project AK.
It also became known that the game will be released on consoles, although it was originally planned to be exclusive to PC. However, it is not yet clear whether the multiplayer will remain in any form (for example, as a co-op) or whether the new version is exclusively single player.
At the same time, the lore of the game, apparently, remained unchanged – the actions of Project AK, as it was said during the initial announcement, will unfold in the popular Dungeon Fighter Online universe. Unreal Engine 4 is still used as the engine.
