Realme introduced Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro – the cyberpunk of our time

Yesterday, Realme introduced the eighth series of smartphones. It includes two devices: Realme 8 and 8 Pro. Smartphones are similar in characteristics to the previous line of the company, but they also have many key differences.

Realme 8 Pro

Realme 8 Pro is equipped with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with support for Full HD + quality with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The maximum screen brightness is 1000 nits and the touch frequency is 180Hz. There is a fingerprint sensor built into the display. On the back, the smartphone has a quad camera with a 108MP main lens. It has a large Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor, which allows you to take photos with excellent resolution even in low light levels. For better detail, the camera takes 8 photos and then combines them into one. According to the company, the lens takes pictures with 3x zoom and they get much better quality than pictures from a regular camera sensor with the same magnification.

The main camera has Super Night and Ultra Night shooting modes, as well as a new “Star Mode” for slow motion. The smartphone takes a photo every 15 seconds at 240 frames per second, and then combines them into a video that is 8 seconds long. The ultra-wide lens is presented at 8MP with a viewing angle of 119 degrees, and there is also a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP black and white lens. The front camera is installed at 16MP.

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 720G processor and will go on sale with a new 2.0 software update outside of the home market. The mobile device is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also support for a memory card and a slot for two SIM cards. The Relame 8 Pro is equipped with a 4500mAh battery with a maximum 65W charger. The manufacturer promises that the smartphone can work up to 20 hours when watching videos or up to 8 hours of continuous play. It takes about 50 minutes to fully charge the battery.

The mobile device is expected to appear on the Russian market next week, as well as in India. Currently available for pre-order at official website… The smartphone will be available in black and blue:

Realme 8

The smartphone is identical in design to the Pro version, only the cover is different: it is holographic. The Relame 8 features the same 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a touch rate of 180Hz. On the back, the mobile device has four cameras with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor and two additional 2MP ones. Videos can be shot in 4K quality.

The standard model is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G95 chipset. Realme has improved cooling system efficiency by 14% by replacing carbon fiber with copper. The amount of RAM is presented in three variants: 4GB, 6GB and 8GB, and the internal storage is 128GB. There is support for a memory card. The smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with a charger with a maximum power of 30W. From zero to 100%, the device takes about an hour to charge. The company claims that the standard version can last up to 23 hours when watching videos and up to 10 hours in game mode.

The smartphone is available for purchase in India, there is no information about the appearance in Russia yet. The device will be available in gray and two shades of black:
