During the PAX East 2024 presentation, Square Enix finally announced the exact release date of the large-scale Dawntrail add-on for MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. The release will take place on July 2, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but pre-order holders will receive early access from June 28, 2024.
Pre-orders for Dawntrail will open on March 26 at 19:00 Moscow time. As a bonus, players will be able to receive the Clockwork Zidane minion, Azeyma’s earrings, and a 30% increase in experience up to level 90. Owners of the Collector’s Edition and Digital Collector’s Edition will also receive the Ark mount (video below), the Clockwork Garnet minion, and the Chocobo Brush for the Pictomancer. All bonuses will be issued immediately after pre-ordering.
As with the Endwalker expansion, the physical Dawntrail Collector’s Edition will only be released on PC. However, those who want physical goods will be able to purchase the collector’s box separately. Both options include a Viper figure, a Dawntrail boxart by Yoshitaka Amano, an Endless Journey notebook, and an adventurer pen case.
