MOBA DOTA 2 has had a “Turbo” mode for a long time, offering faster and shorter matches. However, with the release of the next update, this mode has become even more dynamic, thanks to several important changes.
The full list of changes to the Turbo mode is as follows:
- Runes of Wisdom now grant twice as much experience.
- Lotuses appear in the pond every one and a half minutes instead of three.
- Aghanim’s Shard sale start time changed from 9:45 am to 7:30 am.
- Infused Raindrops sale start time changed from 3:30 AM to 1:30 AM.
- The selection phase now displays the number of players on each team that have already selected heroes.
- Enemies no longer see heroes randomly selected by your team before the planning stage.
- Players who pick a random hero will no longer receive free Mango and Faerie Fire.
- Removed the ban on choosing a random hero in the last 10 seconds of the selection stage.
- Phantom Assassin’s Manifold Paradox Arcana item now counts as progress in Turbo Mode (winning it counts as half a regular win).
- Pudge’s Feast of Abscession Arcana item now counts for progress in Turbo mode (winning it counts as half a regular win).
In addition, the update fixed bugs related to the Turbo mode from DOTA 2.
