Ubisoft Announces Mobile Shooter Rainbow Six Mobile

The French company Ubisoft has officially unveiled a mobile multiplayer first-person shooter called Rainbow Six Mobile. The project has been developed over the past three years by a studio based in Montreal.

The gameplay of Rainbow Six Mobile is very similar to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege, but with a mobile-friendly interface and controls. Players will be able to take part in 5v5 team battles, in which one side takes on the role of attackers, while the other side takes on the role of defenders. You can choose from a variety of familiar operatives with unique features.

“Our goal is not for you to stop playing on PC or consoles and move to mobile devices. We know nothing beats the adrenaline rush of intense Siege on a big screen or the precision of a mouse and keyboard. Since you can’t carry monitors around with you, Rainbow Six Mobile will give you the opportunity to play your favorite game in short and accessible matches, as well as allow millions of new players to get the R6 experience, ”explained the developers.

On the official website of Rainbow Six Mobile, you can leave a request in order to be able to take part in the upcoming closed alpha testing. The stage itself is promised to be launched “in the coming weeks.”
