The South Korean company Blue Potion Games held a presentation at which it talked about its new mobile MMORPG EOS Blackwhich is a sequel to MMORPG EOS and MMORPG EOS Red.
The game’s release is scheduled for the second quarter of 2024, and closed testing is planned from April 3 to April 5. You can pre-register at official website. At the moment, the game is known to be released in South Korea, but there are no plans to release the game in other regions.
Although the game seems to be a classic mobile game from South Korea, it has several distinctive features:
- Equipment items can only be obtained by hunting monsters.
- The game features a free economy through auctions and exchanges between characters.
- The character can continue to destroy monsters offline. In addition, you can set up the sale of received items and the purchase of necessary consumables.
- The PK (Player Killing) system will allow you to obtain equipment items and diamonds.
- The Execution and Slavery systems allow you to execute defeated enemies or take them into slavery. Whatever that means.
- The monetization system is focused on low costs and does not incur P2W mechanics. Although in the footage from the presentation you can see mounts and pets with stats.
The game features four character classes, which, in addition to the main weapons, have access to 2 additional ones:
- Archer is an expert with a bow. Has powerful long-range attacks. As additional weapons he can use a sword and a magic staff.
- Warrior distinguished by strength and endurance. He is fluent with a sword and can additionally use a bow and a magic staff.
- Enchantress capable of incinerating enemies with powerful spells and healing allies. He uses a magic staff as his main weapon, and a sword and bow are additional weapons.
- Fighter is a master of martial arts and is armed with combat gloves. Additional weapons: bow and magic staff.
According to the developers, they have placed a lot of emphasis on PvP content in the game. In addition to duels and the PK system, the game features sieges and battles for territories.
